Let this week’s Bockrath Blog give you a crash course in utilizing our Custom Rug Studio!

FINISH OPTION 1
Polyester Machine Binding
Polyester Machine binding is machine stitched from the top. This is our most affordable option when finishing a custom rug.
FINISH OPTION 2
Cotton Machine Binding

Cotton Machine Binding is machine stitched from the top.
Cotton Binding tape is more durable than polyester and gives a polished look to your rug
FINISH OPTION 3
Top Sew, Wide Cotton Binding
Top Sew is first hand stitched then hot glued to give durability.
Binding is 3-5″ wide and produces a “picture frame” look with a gorgeous herring bone pattern to the edging.
FINISH OPTION 4
Faux Serging

Binding tape with string overlay to give a genuine serged look. This is a less expensive way to achieve a serged yarn look.
FINISH OPTION 5
Cotton Serging

Cotton Serging is machine stitched with yarn.
This elegant yet affordable edge option is often found on fine rugs and runners.
FINISH OPTION 6
Cotton Hand Binding
