Our rug artisans will work from two rug studio locations. Both locations are at our Dayton
showroom. The second location is located in the building front of our showroom.

The Bockrath family has had a long term relationship with the talented Hartley family. The two came together to bridge the gap between rug artisans and a carpet showroom. This became the Custom Rug Studio!

Bockrath Flooring and Rugs was previously named Bockrath Carpet and Oriental Rugs. When Doug took over the business after his father’s retirement he extended the inventory to hard surface, and many different styles of rugs.

Our Custom Rug Studio is more than just binding and serging! Although we specialize in 6 different finishing techniques we also have customizable capabilities such as
- Hand carving
- Custom shaping- any shape you can design we can cut!
- Custom inlay to create a custom designed rug such as logos, graphics, ext.
- Rug maintenance
- Pattern matching
