Remember our friends over at We Care Arts? Back in March we held the first annual Rug Design Event where their clients designed rugs and we selected one drawing to create in our Custom Rug Studio. That rug was then auctioned off at their Spring Auction where it was sold raising $1,100.00 for We Care Arts.
We’re excited to join with We Care Arts again and be a sponsor for their upcoming 5K ARTS and DRAFTS, RUN STROLL and ROLL Saturday, August 6th. The day will start with the 5K at 8am. If you’d like to register, it’s not too late- register online at keysports.net. Check-in for the RUN STROLL and ROLL 5K is at 6:30 am in the Kettering Recreation Complex, 2900 Glengarry Drive, Kettering. The 5K course is completely accessible and the event is open to everyone at all levels of physical ability. Each participant will receive a hand-crafted ceramic medal created by clients at We Care Arts, and free beverage coupon for the ARTS and DRAFTS celebration that evening.
The evening ARTS and DRAFTS event will begin at 4pm in the back lot of We Care Arts, 3035 Wilmington Pike, Kettering. You can expect local food trucks, craft beer, and root beer, live music, and live tattooing by Trivium Tattoo and Modified Skin Tattoos. The evening will also feature an art auction comprised of pieces created by nationally renowned tattoo artists. Oh- and we almost forgot to mention, free admission!
