That question isn’t as strange as you might think, because those Neapolitan ice cream colors, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, are pretty popular carpet colors in 2019.
At least, that’s what we hear in our store. Don’t worry. Your home won’t look like a sundae, but you have to admit that palette is pretty interesting!
That’s just one thing the experts at Bockrath Flooring & Rugs of Dayton hear lately. It’s a large store in Dayton, and one of the largest in the Ohio Valley.
More Carpet Trends--And the Nursery is a Big One
More and more, it seems that people come into our store to ask about best styles and colors for the nursery.
It’s most likely because of the incredible sound absorption. A lot of Dayton houses have two or more levels; it acts as an insulator between floors, so baby won’t be disturbed by the sounds of footsteps, electronic device beeps or even conversations.
Here’s another thing we hear in our store. People love carpet tiles. They mix and match different colors and patterns to create their own unique style. It’s a personal expression, they say.
If you want to try it yourself, come into our store, select some remnants, and then come into the Bockrath Rug Gallery to watch our team craft your own unique rug for indoors or out.
For the past couple of years, we’ve been hearing designers in Dayton talk about the wonders of grey floors. It looks like that trend isn’t going to end anytime soon, and now it’s extended to the soft surface.
We’re talking about flint grey. Be sure to check out a sample when you come in to see us.
Since grey is a color that can be neutral or not, and if you’re definitely a neutral purist, you’ll be pleased to know that beiges, straw and browns are colors-of-choice, as are patterns like geometrics, animal prints and plaids.
In other words, those days of the monotone wall-to-wall carpet are long gone.
So come into the Bockrath Flooring & Rugs showroom in Dayton, Ohio, and let us show you how you can have some creative fun.
